In a career spanning three decades my experience goes a long way. Clients get to benefit from every experience I’ve ever had. I developed my career from the early days of internet marketing and have grown with it. I combine old school marketing skills with the latest multichannel know-how.  I’ve worked client side, agency side and run my own branding consultancy.

I’ve helped communications work above the line, below the line and internally. I know how to deliver projects, managing outputs, working on time and to budget.  Whatever your project there’s’ a good chance I’ve worked on it or something like it.  The experience I bring from other sectors and industries can have real relevance and bring you new insights and a fresh perspective on your current work. Here are just a few of the milestone projects I’ve worked on over the years:

  • 2020-21Hillrom

    Working with Hillrom, a major healthcare organisation to deliver strategies and projects for their EMEA marketing programmes.
  • 2019Interface (Project Management)

    Management of the European Internal Communication and PR activity for this progressive sustainable flooring manufacturer. I worked directly with all the senior leaders across Europe ensuring both internal and external communication were aligned to the strategy.
  • 2018Swinton Group

    Interim Head of Internal Communications for 7 months, during a very difficult and challenging time for the business. My role was to ensure that the internal communications to employees was motivating and engaging and communicating the changes taking place.
  • 2017TransPennine Express

    Developed an engagement strategy, built on a series of engagement programmes, connecting employees to the brand, to the customer and colleagues with each other. The aim was to build a cohesive TransPennine team.
  • 2015IoIC

    Became a volunteer member of the Northern Committee of the Institute of Internal Communications. The committee’s role is to promote the IoIC in the North and to support those Internal Comms professionals based through a variety of hubs and networking events.
  • 2012Pfizer

    Created and developed an internal engagement strategy, to celebrate Pfizer’s good work in international communities at a time when their reputation was being tarnished by the media.
  • 2010Peel Ports

    Working with the Peel Ports Board to reposition their brand portfolio, across the UK. Developed a new positioning and identity to launch Peel as a big player in global shipping.
  • 2007Fairtrade Organisation

    Created and managed for 4 years the Fairtrade Organisation’s marketing campaigns working alongside key stakeholders.
  • 2000Jersey Telecom

    A 12 month re branding and re positioning strategy. Working directly with the Board and reporting to their shareholders to deliver a new identity, market positioning, and intensive external and internal communications.
